Sparking change on the most deeply divisive issues requires reframing the conversation . I’ve worked in the middle of the most polarizing debates to find common ground among unlikely allies.

Following the tragic mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2013, a group of Silicon investors sought to foster innovation in the firearms industry to prevent accidental and unintentional deaths. I worked to form a nonprofit organization, Smart Tech Challenges Foundation, and organized a $1mm challenge to award money to innovators across the nation developing biometric and RFID technology. The firearms challenge and participating innovators were featured in multiple outlets including New York Times, 60 Minutes, and Business Insider.
